Licensing
Licensing & Limits Management
The License & limits tab within the Hotel Profile is your central dashboard for managing Verabooking subscription tiers and monitoring operational capacities. Because the Hotel Profile acts as the core configuration area for your property's identity and setup, this section ensures your business limits align with your current operational needs.
Purchasing & Managing Subscriptions
Verabooking licenses are managed through the broader Qunnovera ecosystem rather than directly inside the Verabooking portal.
- Purchase: Premium licenses must be purchased via the Qunnovera website Store.
- Centralized Management: Once a transaction is complete, the newly purchased license is automatically added to your centralized Qunnovera account. You can view and manage all active subscriptions at the Qunnovera Accounts Portal (Note: This URL is subject to change).
Applying a Purchased License
To upgrade your hotel from the default Trial tier to a premium tier, you must manually apply your purchased license:
- Log in to the Verabooking Admin Portal.
- Navigate to the Hotel Profile using the left-hand sidebar menu.
- Click on the License & limits tab along the top navigation bar.
- Scroll to the Available licenses section at the bottom of the page. If your recent purchase is not visible, click the Refresh button on the right.
- Review the capabilities of the available license (e.g., "Advanced") and click the Use this license -> button.
Understanding License Capacities
The dashboard dynamically tracks your current usage against your tier's constraints via visual progress bars.
Trial / Unlicensed State By default, an unlicensed hotel operates on Trial limits.
- Room units: Capped at a maximum of 10 physical rooms.
- Admins: Restricted to 1 administrative staff account. If you hit this maximum allocation, the progress bar will turn red and display a Limit reached warning.
- Custom domain: Marked as Not included.
Active Licensed State Once a premium license (such as the Advanced tier) is applied, the Current license section updates to display the exact expiration date (e.g., Active for this hotel — Through 8 Aug 2028). The capacity progress bars instantly expand to reflect the new limits:
- Room units: Capacity increases (e.g., to 50), allowing you to expand your mapped physical inventory.
- Admins: The staff limit expands (e.g., to 5), permitting you to invite additional team members and assign them specific operational roles.
- Custom domain: The status updates to Included, unlocking the ability to configure a customized URL for your customer-facing Booking Client.
Deactivating & Transferring a License
Licenses are flexible and can be detached from one property to be used on another hotel within your Qunnovera account.
How to Detach:
- Navigate to the License & limits tab in your Hotel Profile settings.
- In the Current license section, click the red Deactivate license text button located on the right side.
- The license is detached immediately and returned to your Available licenses inventory pool.
Important Considerations Upon Deactivation:
- Reversion to Trial Limits: The moment a license is detached, the hotel instantly downgrades back to the default Trial capacities of 10 room units and 1 admin account.
- Feature Loss: Premium features, such as the custom domain integration, are disabled until a valid license is reapplied. Ensure your active room inventory and staff counts are managed prior to deactivation to prevent operational conflicts.
